My dryer drum belt broke on our 2 year old maytag ensignia dryer. We bought a new belt and got it around the drum but now we don't know how to route it through the motor and pulley. Please someone give some info I have searched high and low on the internet but the info I found and pitures don't match the parts in our dryer. I called a repair man and he told me 0 to repair I don't want to waste the money since the jobs basicly done besides the routing. thanks

In the past my dryer always squeaked very loudly, last week the sound disappeared. Later I went down to fold the clothes and they all had black marks on them. After calling out a Sears repair man he found the dryer out of alignment and found that a part was completely corroded. He ordered a new part and I have yet to reschedule the appointment to have him come out and fix it. He has left the drum and pieces in shambles. Is there anway I can fix this myself and spare a hundred dollars for his labor/time? If so, How?

I was changing my dryer belt and I took my dryer appart. The top part bar which contains the on/off lever and timer/setting dial fell backwards. The colored wires, 7 wires to be exact with lil metal ends that plug into a lil metal thingy on the upper-right-side of my dryer on the top, close to the timer but below the metal top. That metal thingy has 7 other colored wires from the dryer hooked to it. I'm not sure whether I match color with color or what.

I don't have a diagram. I got a GE DDE5200PALWH automatic. It's an older dryer. Can someone help me out?

I don't wanna get shocked or call a repair man.

Gas dryer is 7 months old. Inlstalled in new house. Has been drying just fine until the last couple of days. It took 3- 60 mts cylcles to finally dry average load. Wet lint is accumelating around outside of lint screen. Repair man came today and took the dryer a part and insisted dryer is working just fine. He thinks that there could be a ventallation problem from inside the wall that connects to outside since the house was recently built. The lanundry room is on the second floor so he couldn't locate the exact spot of outside vent but from what he saw that maybe the vent opening, there were no smoke blowing out. Can someone suggest what might be wrong all of a sudden? I'm going to contact the builder tomorrow but if the problem turns out to be what he thinks, how is this problem usually resolved. Does it call for tearing any walls down. Really worried, please help if you are familiar with this. Thank you in advance.
