Won’t even turn on sounds like a power supply problem in the new house. If it was a problem in the unit from the move, it should turn on but not heat.
Is the unit gas or electric. If its gas than its plugged into a regular 110 outlet. Will something else plugged into that outlet work? If its electric than it should be a 30A 220V outlet. You need 2 110V legs 180 degrees out of phase to work. 3 or 4 prong doesn’t really matter. A newer installation uses a 4 prong plug. The difference between a 3 prong and a 4 prong is the 4 prong has a non current bearing ground wire, the 3 prong uses a current bearing neutral so true ground cannot be achieved. To meter that you would check each leg to ground or neutral (left or right prong to a center prong) which should give you 110 Volts each, then between the left and right prongs, which should give you 220V. If your having problems reading the 110Volt readings you can check to the ground of a regular outlet. If that gives you a good reading then you have a bad neutral return in your house dryer circuit. If you get 110Volts each no problem but are unable to read 220Volts between the two legs then your problem is in one of your "hot" legs of the house dryer circuit.
Afterthought >>> Check the pigtail connections in the back of the dryer, make sure that one of the wires didn’t jiggle off in the move. Make sure that they are tight and not loose. A loose connection would cause your problem, and would also be a fire hazzard at that current load.
Check to make sure you have plugged it in. If so check the breakers in the breaker box to see if any of them are tripped.
If you are not familiar with wiring have someone who is to check and make sure the dryer is wired correctly and make sure the outlet is wired correctly. Sometimes people just wire things so they will work but not correctly. Also would have someone to make sure you are getting the proper voltage to the outlet.
probably broke the igniter during the move
